Inspired by Morocco.
'Chaotic Peace' is number 2 in the Morocco print collection.
We went from chaos to calm as we left the city and headed towards the Sahara desert. Along the way we met some of the welcoming Berber community and saw some amazing pieces of craftsmanship and colour!
The Sahara landscape had a peaceful stillness and an endless sea of golden-orange sand dunes. Highlights were climbing to the top of a dune and watching the dramatic colours change as the sun went down. Another is when the Nomads asked if we would teach them a song to drum along to and the first thing that came to mind was Adele.
We don’t think we’ll ever forget them untunefully belting out random lines of ‘Rolling in the Deep’
All our art work is hand painted with a mixture of digital collage and illustration.
Our art work is printed on Perlino Cotton. This is a really beautiful textured paper that is soft to the touch with great environmental characteristics – FSC Certified, 20% recycled, 15% cotton fibres.
